About KV

In 1965, an autonomous body, namely, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan was registered as society under societies registration Act. XXI of 1860, which took over the task of opening and managing the Kendriya Vidyalayas.

K.V. Chourai is one of the offshoots of Jabalpur Region, which is one of the renowned regions of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan . It is under Civil Sector established in May 2012. This KV is traversing on the path of academic excellence in upswing trends with glory to the greater glory making robust commitments and fulfilling the desire and aspiration of the people of Chourai . Within very short span of time this learning temple became the testament of the work forces and skills of the pupils.

The Vidyalaya is having classes from BALVATIKA III to XII with science streams in plus two(+2) where about 800 students are enrolled. The school is privileged to have a profoundly learned, experienced and well qualified staff. The school has a huge triple story building with well furnished class rooms, well equipped science laboratories and a developed play ground.

Besides providing quality education, the students are provided with ample opportunities to take part in cultural, sports and drawing painting competitions right from the school level to national and international level.
